I have been praying for a long time about which direction I need to take with this business. For a long time, I have felt led to start a cloth diaper ministry. A place where anyone who needed diapers could come and get cloth diapers for their children. I just really didn't know where to start. But, I kept praying about it and trusted that God would lead me down His chosen path.
Then, my dear friend Shannon and I were talking one day. And suddenly, it all came together. God led us together to create a place where families in need could come. We've found ourselves in this place of being called to do more. To give more. To be more.
So here it is: Consider the Lilies Charity. With the Lord's blessing we will work humbly and diligently to help every family who comes to us for help. Because EVERY child deserves a clean diaper for their heiny. And EVERY child deserves a safe car seat.
I've been going back and forth on what role Lullaby Kisses would play in Consider the Lilies Charity. After all, Lullaby Kisses is how I contribute financially for my family. I was scared to give up control of that. But God has my back, and I trust Him! So here I am to share that I am convicted & fully committed to give my profits made from sales of cloth diapers from Lullaby Kisses to give back. You buy a diaper...and we will give a diaper away to a family in need. I am humbled and absolutely amazed at how God has worked to bless Consider the Lilies Charity and I am hopeful and prayerful that others will give generously to help further this cause.
As it turns out, becoming a non-profit organization isn't cheap! Shannon and I are both Work-at-Home-Moms and are committed to using portions of our profits towards our cause. But, we're going to need your help. To file the papers and gain 501(c)3 non-profit status is going to cost approximately $1,000. We will be holding a fundraiser to raise the money beginning in June. In preparations for that fundraiser, we are in need of donated items to auction for our fundraiser. Additionally, we've begun accepting donations of cloth diapers as well as monetary donations for the purchase of new car seats for families in need. We understand we're asking for a lot of trust - and considering most of you don't know us - that's asking you to take a big leap of faith. Please donate knowing that we will be completely open with our bookkeeping, always honest about where your money and donations are going & we will keep administrative costs and other necessary business costs at a bare minimum. We're vested in this, too. We aren't asking anyone for anything that we aren't willing to give of ourselves, if we had the available resources.

This is amazing! Thanks so much or your desire to help those in need. I am unemployed, and I have been SO blessed by friends who gifted me used cloth diapers. We use them when we're home (which is most o the time) and they've saved us a bundle! Praying for your success!
